Prayer is one of the greatest privileges of the Christian life. Think of this: we can speak to God, he hears us and he has promised to answer us.
As a church we know it is important to pray together, so that we can seek God’s will and his help. We have regular prayer meetings each week on a Wednesday evening at 7.30pm and before the Sunday morning service at 9:30am.
On a Wednesday we have a mixture of small group prayer meetings and times when we are altogether. The general pattern is small groups on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month, and altogether on the 2nd, 4th and 5th Wednesday of the month.
Our altogether meetings involve a short time of singing followed by a Bible study. We will then spend the rest of the time praying together.
In the small groups, we will spend some time talking together about what the Lord has shown us through the sermon the previous Sunday morning. We will then share some prayer needs and pray for each other and for other things as we hear of them.
