
Paul Kosciecha
Pastor / Elder
Paul is the main preacher and teacher at Whittlesey Baptist Church. Along with the other elders he is responsible for the overall vision and direction of the church as well as pastoral support.
He is married to Anita and they have 3 sons, and 1 daughter. In his spare time Paul enjoys playing music, walking and anything to do with technology.

Graham Abblitt
Elder
Graham is our longest serving Elder and has also been the church Treasurer since book keeping began!
He’s married to Kathleen and runs his own Accountancy practice for a living.

Roger Brand
Elder
Roger is one of our elders and shares in the responsibility for the leadership in the church. He particularly works among older friends in the church and senior friends in the local residential homes.
Roger is married to Gwen and they have three grown up children plus five lovely grand children. They have lived in Whittlesey for 45 years. He’s involved in agriculture in his day time work and enjoys if spare time allows gardening and outside things. Roger holds a dream of flying in a Lancaster or Spitfire one day.

Steve Philpott
Elder
Steve is one of the team of elders responsible for leading, teaching and pastoring the church. He works for an engineering company in Peterborough and has lived in Whittlesey since 2004.
Steve is married to Miriam and they have 3 boys. He loves time with his family and being active outdoors.

Rob Busby

Andrew Gray
Deacon (Publicity & Technology)
Andrew deals with all the publicity and technology requirements of the church. As well as contributing as one of the guitar players during services.
He runs his own business specializing in the provision of website analytics and is married to Kathryn.

Jamie Johnson
Deacon (Practical Care)

Jonny Wicks
Deacon (Children & Youth Work)
Jonny coordinates the children and youth work activities of the church as well as leading the weekly Bible Class on a Sunday morning for the teenagers.
Since his wife Rachel passed away in July 2019, going to be with Jesus, he is kept busy with his three young boys where kitchen dance-off’s and hallway football matches are a regular feature.
